At Risk Tissue

The At Risk Tissue consists of Waco Center For Youth, Family Abuse Center, and Mission Waco’s Children.

Waco Center for Youth is a psychiatric facility for teenagers where members can aid in the process by swimming, tutoring, and just connecting with the young people there.

Volunteering times:

  • Mon - Sun @ 8:00 am - 8:00 pm

Family abuse center

Family Abuse Center is a shelter that serves victims of domestic abuse in McLennan and surrounding counties.  Members provide support to those there and help with the children’s group, among other duties.

Volunteering times:

  • Thurs @ 7:00 - 8:30 pm

Mission Waco’s Children

Mission Waco’s Children is where volunteers can help to coordinate and participate in activities with children after school hours. Volunteers can participate in a STEM program or play games with the children in the gym, among various other activities!

Volunteering times:

  • Tuesdays & Thursdays @ 3 - 5 pm
