Why I love MSO: I love MSO because of the community. When I joined MSO freshman year I was immediately welcomed in by upperclassmen and got to meet so many people as I began serving in my cell. Each semester I continue to get to know others and have seen the genuine heart for service that each person has! The people in MSO have really made me fall in love with the organization.

Why I love MSO: Joining MSO my freshman year, MSO stood out because of the dedication that MSO shows to our community as well as to each other. I love that MSO members serve Waco and the Baylor community in many different ways, from First aid service to the time each week to serve at one specific location. I love that we genuinely care not only for the people we serve but also for one another. All in All, MSO is not just a club to me, but instead, a group of motivated people who cares for one another like family.

Why I love MSO: I love MSO because it allows me to escape the Baylor bubble and serve the Waco community. Serving alongside the wonderful members of MSO brings me a lot of joy, and is a chance to escape the pressures of school. The community of MSO does well to encourage its members to serve, but also provides a community of like-minded individuals that can be helpful when the Pre-health life gets stressful.

Why I love MSO: I love MSO not only because of its dedication to service, but also because of the amazing people I have met through this organization.  You can always volunteer on your own, but MSO’s opportunity to volunteer with a small group is a special experience that I’ve never had before.  Volunteering with a small group allows you to grow with your peers and build special bonds among your cell as you give back to the Waco community as a whole. MSO focuses on both the larger Waco community as well as the smaller cell community – a defining and unique characteristic that makes MSO so special!

Why I love MSO: Being involved in MSO has solidified my love for serving in my community. I’m passionate about MSO’s mission to truly making a difference by forming relationships and shaping students through service. I’ve loved being involved in several different cells and seeing how each one positively impacts Waco. Through FHC volunteering, I've gained an appreciation for accessible healthcare and have learned so much about the challenges involved with such clinics. Why I love MSO:  I love MSO because of its heartfelt mission to deliver service to the needing community of Waco. Even before I came to Baylor, I knew MSO would be the organization I would get highly involved in due to the vast volunteering opportunities it provides to its members. Now that I have enjoyed a semester of MSO, I have had a taste of just what it has to offer. From my upcoming mission trip to Peru to my past experiences in Special Service Events to my cell volunteering, MSO has been a homey organization that I feel comfortable becoming involved in.

Why I love MSO: Some nights I think to myself that outside of the Baylor student body itself, this might be the biggest family Baylor University has. Each member is as easy to get along with as the next, and all of us work together to serve the Waco community in our own unique way. MSO isn’t just a pre-health service organization - it’s a family that does good work each and every day.
